I can take off my thumb!

Not many people know how to do this trick, it's only for the elite and knowledegable.  But I will share my secret.

Step 1:  Take left pointer finger and put it on your thumb knuckle.

Step 2:  Straighten right hand and bend first thumb knuckle (right) back.

Step 3:  Place left hand pointer finger over middle of two thumb knuckles.  This should look like it is really just one thumb.

Step 4: Slide left hand off straight THIS IS KEY, AND TAKES PRACTICE

TIP: Make sure right knuckle is tucked back far enough so it is certain the viewer's can't see it.

Congratulations, you removed your thumb.

New Technology

Honestly, I haven't payed much attention to any of the recent technology that is out so I don't have the slightest clue as to what I want now-a-days.  I don't have any need for a tablet, so like the new iPad Mini is out.  With sports in season, I don't have time to play video games anyways, so what would I do with a 3DS, Playstation 4, ot Xbox One?

And then those watch-phone things look dumb, soooooo yeah.  I don't really have my eyes set on anything.

Surprisingly, I don't even need a new phone either.  I would ask for an iPhone 5S but I have heard a lot about how crappy the battery and OS is, customer service, durability, etc., yet it's still the leading phone out there. WHY? So I will stick with my Samsung Galaxy S3.  I haven't had any problems with it yet and I've had this sucker for going on 6 months now.

4 Day Weekend! :D

This holiday weekend was the best! Wednesday we had a half-day, but right after school I had basketball practice and pictures.  So I didn't get to eat lunch until like 3:30.  For lunch Sarah Barker and I went to Taco Bell and I smashed 3 Doritos locos tacos (one of each flavor) and a large Baja Blast.

Friday I hung out with Sarah and we went out with some friends that night.

Saturday I watched the OSU vs MI game and then Alabama vs Auburn.  THEY WERE THE CRAZIEST THINGS I'VE WITNESSED IN MY LIFE.  Jake Butt definitely earns player of the game for Michigan.  It was a close game though, much closer than I thought it would be.  With few seconds left in the game, Brady Hoke could've either gone for a field goal for one point, tied it up, and gone into over time OR gone for the 2 point conversion and won the game right there.  This guy went for two, and of course Devin Gardener throws to the guy who has two guys covering him instead of the wide open tight end on the corner.  UGH

Sunday I went to the open gym at school from 2-4 and got some good shooting practice in.  After that, my parents took me out to Applebee's. I got the salmon, and boy was it good. :b

Thanksgiving

Turkey day is upon us :b To me Thanksgiving gives me time to reflect and realize how much I really have to be thankful for on a relative daily basis. And it's also time for football.  And to give my thanks for football. ♥

My family celebrates Thanksgiving at my house every year.  Most of my family lives in the Ann Arbor and Detroit area so it is about an hour drive, but we have Christmas at their houses, so it's kind of a trade off. We don't really eat anything "un-typical" of the holiday.  But for the past few years we've made manicotti because we have 2 vegetarians in the family, so they would need a main course to eat besides turkey.  We also make a mean dirt pudding.

American's celebrate Thanksgiving to pretend they are thankful, watch NFL football, and for stores to get rid of their clearance items for mega low prices and people can use those as Christmas presents.

Happy holidays

A Dull Evening Consits of...

NOTHING!  I hate the nights when I can't do anything.  Sure, I like to watch sports and TV, but definitely not for a whole day.  And nothing is worse than when you can't hang out with any of your friends.

Coming from a teenager, this might sound weird, but I hate sitting on my phone all day.  I hae those kind of days, usually this happens every Sunday.  U

GH!  Maybe I'll just sleep for the whole day.

Honesty is the best policy

It's best to be honest for lots of reasons.  A primary reason is because if you aren't honest, and people find out, you won't be trusted.  Trust is the foundation to any successful relationship.  Whether it's between a friendship, family member, or any other loved one.

I mean, you know that if someone was a liar you wouldn't trust them with any information or responsibilities - like school work or secrets.

Ja feel?

I think there is a time where it's ok to lie, but not for anything massive.  Only little things like telling a kid about the tooth fairy or something.

I don't know how much I lie.  Everyone does it, they cant deny it.  I wouldn't say I do it often - if I did I would be in so much trouble and involved in so much drama.  If lying doesn't effect you quickly it will eventually back fire on you.

So just stay true, honesty is the best policy

Tis the season! ➳

About a week ago I got my tags for deer season, and I'm getting antsy.  I can't wait until opening day for gun season.  It's already bow season but I haven't shot since Nam so I'm not going this year with a bow.

I'm planning on placing a bet with Mason on whoever gets a bigger buck when we go out together has to do something.  I don't know what, but I'll think of something.  >:)

Bang bang.

Will

Will Davis gets excited about the little things in life.

Something that makes Will happy is when he pushes the eject disk button on his desktop at school and it doesn't work so it makes whirly-grindy noises.

yolo swag.

Halloween ☠

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! I love it so much because it's kind of like the official beginning of the fall season.  I'm going trick-or-treating with my friend Sarah and maybe her boyfriend Kyle, and maybe mine, Mason.   We're going to the airport section in Adrian & might hit up a Halloween party or two.

The best part about Halloween is FREE CANDY! Who doesn't like free things, let alone free edible things? ..! The best candy I like to get is probably Kit-Kat or Sour Patch Kids.  They're soooo good.

First they're sour, then they're sweet.

I don't normally carve pumpkins, but last year I bought a little over a dozen and smashed them with friends with baseball bats in a corn field. This year I plan on shooting rotten ones with Mason. Wow we're so #country

FALL! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Fall is my favorite season by far! It's full of football, food, and family.  Those are the three F's to life.

Along with football and Thanksgiving, it's also DEER HUNTING SEASON.  Michigan is full of whitetails and I love to go out and hunt with friends and family.

Plus, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.  I mean, honestly, unless you're a massive health nut - who doesn't like free candy?!

I'm perfect :) ..or am I?

Well, I'm pretty darn close to perfect!  Sort of.  Hannah Montana couldn't have said it any better, NOBODY'S PERFECT! I would say one "thing" I have to change about myself is my loud mouth.

Sure it has some perks, like during sports events or talking to crowds.  But at other times it isn't so great. I'm pretty sarcastic and joking a majority of the time, and my voice travels fairly well at inappropriate times.  I can't even count how many times I've gotten in trouble for saying something really loudly - that i thought was quietly - that wasn't appropriate for the setting or  for people within earshot.

Oops.

My Weekend✌

This weekend was so much fun; Friday night I went to Madison's homecoming and hung out with my friends Russell, Sarah, Paige, and my boyfriend, Mason.  Madison played Sand Creek, so I saw a lot of my peers and other friends at the game.  Madison won 41-24.  After the game, Mason, Sarah, and I went to Taco Bell and we smashed a 12 pack of tacos, and I filled a take out bag with salsa and hot sauce.

Saturday I had hunter's safety at Lenawee County Conservation League from 8:30 - 4 pm.  Later that night I went to the movies with Mason and saw Insidious: Chapter 2, while his parents and younger siblings, Max and Malloree, saw Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2.

Sunday was boring and I missed all the NFL games because of hunter's safety class.  But I got to shoot a .22 bolt-action rifle and a 20 gauge shotgun at clay pigeons.  I've shot before, so it was easy for me.  But at least I got to do something I like. Plus I got 100% on the test, so obviously I passed the class.

I'M LEGAL NOW, FOLKS.

Typical School Day at Sand Creek HS!

Here's a video I made on how my day generally goes at Sand Creek HS.  Pardon the profanity

Homecoming Pep Assembly ♔

The homecoming this year was so much fun! :) The themes for dressing up were so much easier for people to follow, so not even the "Debbie Downers" could complain about how dumb the days were. & the pep assembly was a blast. The cheerleader's performances were soooo much better than last year.  I was kind of impressed with the Junior High cheerleader's routines.  The class games were same as always; my favorite is Ships and Sailors.  The tug-of-war was totally rigged for the teachers because they had practically the whole staff vs. only 10 students.  My favorite part of the assembly was during the fall sports' team relays, Roger Fox put a hole in the ceiling with a football.

I'd like to see more fun things like dance-offs, pie eating contests, and those kind of things at our assemblies.  Even without them there, they're still really fun and waaaaay better than being in class.

The actual game was neck and neck the whole time with those dern Morenci Bulldogs. Tied at 13, I was for sure we were going into OT. Only until the very last seconds did Morenci score.  The final score was 20-13 and bulldogs with the win. I was part of the shirtless crew and I think we did a pretty solid job staying loud and keeping everyone pumped.

Here is a video of our teachers dancing from Sand Creek's 2012 Homecoming Assembly

Homecoming Week!☺

This week was homecoming, and this year we play our rivals - the Morenci Bulldogs.  So naturally everyone, especially the football players, are trying to get super pumped.  To get ready for the big game we have people dress up to a different theme each day of the week.

Monday: Pajama Day

Tuesday: "Dress to the Nines" or Formal Day
Wednesday: Western Day
Thursday:  Camo day
Friday:  Green and White Day

The highlight of my week was formal day. For formal day, my friend Matt wore a dress - my dress. Picture to the right :D

This blog thing is challenging.  The settings are obnoxious, but maybe it's just because I'm slow. Oh well, yolo
